Eliran Bar-On: The Pulse of Urban Expressive Realism
Large-scale oil paintings exploring the fractured identity of the Israeli experience where iconic Bauhaus architecture meets the raw rhythm of the modern soul.
The DNA of a Living City My work oscillates between the chaotic urban landscape of Tel Aviv and the introspective human psyche. I paint the "Israeli DNA"—a constant tension between nostalgia and an aggressive contemporary tempo, building layers of oil on canvas with the same rhythmic energy I use to produce electronic music.
Welcome to Oil Portrait Gallery
The paintings here weren’t made for wallsthey were made from the heart.
As someone living with PTSD after serving in a highly classified security position, art for me isn’t a hobby.
It’s a lifeline. A way to breathe. A way to express what can’t be spoken.
If something resonates with you know you’re not alone.
Feel free to explore, feel, and maybe find a piece that speaks to your soul.
Here you’ll find expressive oil paintings, emotional portraits, surreal landscapes, and inner world reflections.
Each piece reflects a real emotional moment fear, strength, love, loneliness, or hope.
