A Junction of Time | Tel Aviv Then and Now
Sold
'A Junction of Time' shows a Tel Aviv street corner with a rounded Bauhaus building, a small hotel and floors of balconies, and splits it into two eras: on one side the street in grey, with an old bus and a vintage car; on the other the city of today, in color, with a palm tree, cars and a blue sky. The split is not architectural documentation but a look at what was kept, what changed and what goes on: the same building, the same corner, and traffic that never stops. A wide work from the 'Tel Aviv Then and Now' series, painted in 2024, 140 × 100 cm, oil on canvas, signed with a certificate of authenticity. Sold for ILS 6,000 and kept here as part of the series. Other works from the series are available in the gallery, and another Tel Aviv corner can be commissioned in a similar spirit.
