'Walking on the Sky' shows two men from an angle nobody usually sees: from below, bare feet close to the viewer, one sitting and one floating upside down, with a blue sky and clouds instead of ground. Gravity has lost its grip, and what remains is the human body in a strange, playful perspective that forces the eye to work out anew what is up and what is down. A surrealist painting with lightness, offering a fresh reading of the body and of our point of view. Painted in 2018, 80 × 60 cm, oil on canvas, signed with a certificate of authenticity.
